Do your power plugs fit in Macau?
In Macau, they use power sockets (outlets) of type D, M, G and F. In Belgium, you have plugs C and E. You need a power plug adapter in Macau for sockets type D, G and M. Sockets type F can fit your plugs, but may not always be available locally.
- Check your devices with plug E. Some older plugs might be completely round and will not fit in socket type F. In that case you still need a power plug adapter.
- Though sockets types D and M look similar, the pinholes of type M are larger and spaced further apart.
- Plugs C and E may loosely fit into socket type D. This is unsafe and not reccomended.

Voltage converter needed in Macau?
The standard voltage in Macau (220 V) matches more or less the voltage level your devices typically operate at in Belgium (230 V). Manufacturers take these small deviations into account.

To be sure, check the label on your devices. Some devices never need a converter. If the label states 'INPUT: 100-240V, 50/60 Hz' the device can be used in every country in the world. This is common for devices with chargers like tablets/laptops, photo cameras, cell phones, toothbrushes, etc. For these devices you will only need a power plug adapter.
